Mark has helped some of the world’s largest companies, create and build brands. Specialising in FMCG, Mark has founded a number of multi-million dollar businesses around servicing needs for branding, promotion, marketing execution and fulfilment.
As CEO of Kinetic, Mark has, over the last seven years worked with companies such as Coca-Cola, Beiersdorf, Ferrero, Pfizer, Tip Top and Carlton & United Breweries delivering new brands, designing strategies and marketing campaigns.
Mark is passionate about the start-up sector. He was an early investor in Queensland-based logistics technology company Temando, and established a joint venture with them to provide promotional fulfilment to the Australian FMCG market. The business has since gone on to deliver triple digit growth for the last 3 years, resulting in $10M plus revenue and has been recognised with an AFR Fast100 award.
Mark will ‘focus’ on brand building; What does it mean to be a brand? how to build a brand. Is it more than a logo? Along the way he will introduce you to key elements of branding, such as brand pillars, brand language, brand propositions and more.

Chelsea Ford is an enterprise growth strategist, facilitator and coach and is passionate about working with Food and Beverage Business to help unlock possibilities. Having worked for corporates such as Nestle and Kellogg’s, Chelsea wants to help small businesses step up and in 2016 established her own startup, Females in Food.
Chelsea will talk about the essential ingredients of ‘Doing business with Big Business in the F&B space’. How to stay focused while spinning plates as you grow your enterprise. How do you decide what’s important and what to de-focus? Chelsea will also share her experience of what corporates look for in a new business. She will also give her thoughts on how disruption is impacting the F&B industry.

Our Founder, Steve Baxter, is a proud Queenslander, whoestablished Transition Level Investments in 2012.
Steve commenced his career in defence. He went on to establish and successfully exit, an Internet startup based in Australia then worked for Google CA as a technical program Manager. Steve founded River City Labs, a co-working space in Brisbane, in 2011 and has been a ‘Shark’ on the Channel 10 series Shark Tank since 2013.
Steve will be sharing his story and adventure with us, there will be much to learn from!
