The Investor Education Session at McCullough Robertson is designed to educate new startup investors of the basics of Seed and Series A investing. Experienced investors are also invited to join the discussion around startup investing in Australia.
We are delighted to have Stewart Glyyn, Partner at Transition Level Investments, to be moderating the event.
Stewart Glynn is passionate about working with the most talented founders to help them build, structure and grow their companies to mass-market scale. At TLI, Stewart works closely with early-stage technology companies and loves the challenge of helping to build companies from the ground level upwards. In Stewart’s previous life, he was a lead M&A advisor, strategy and finance guy, building skills and learning lessons at global multinationals GE & KPMG.

Anna Rooke, Managing Director of Creative Tech Ventures and Director at QUT Creative Tech Ventures.
Anna Rooke was the founding CEO of QUT Creative Enterprise Australia (CEA), a creative tech accelerator and investment fund. CEA supports creative businesses in the areas of music, film and television, new media and design. Anna led the organisation for over a decade before moving to support the strategic development of the company as a Board member and as Managing Director of CEA’s creative tech fund initiative in June 2018.
Anna led the development of the first Startup Fund to help Australian creative start-ups access early-stage capital to scale their business venture with investments at CEA including TradeMark Vision, Fame & Partners, Bluethumb, Audience Republic and GiggedIn.

Pie Lab’s first fund, Real Estate Industry Venture Capital Fund 2016 (REIVCF16), is a $20 million fund whose mandate is to invest in businesses that service the real estate industry taking advantage of Chris’ reputation and networks as a leading figure in the real estate industry. Reece works closely with the Managing Partner, the Executive Leadership team and McCullough’s partners. As a senior corporate and commercial Partner, Reece has extensive transactional experience in public and private capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and restructures. Reece has been a long-term supporter of the growing Australian start-up community, with particular interests in technology, and life sciences.
