Shark 2 Shark with Steve Baxter and Andrew Banks

River City Labs welcomed Andrew Banks to the precinct stage on Friday 13th October.
Founder of River City Labs and Shark Tank Australia judge Steve Baxter, shared the stage with Andrew in a candid ‘no topic off limits’ discussion, followed by a q&a segment with the audience.

The sold out event saw Steve Baxter sit down to have an open mic conversation with fellow Shark judge Andrew Banks about his journey from startup to the successful entrepreneur he is today.

As a community hub fostering the growth of startups, offering these events to RCL members and the public, increases opportunity of engagement with mentors and industry leaders.

The audience enjoyed valuable advice and an entrepreneur’s story, as told by Andrew and interviewed by Steve.

Sharing lessons learnt from his startup days on selling Andrew Banks said “I was happy to kiss 200 frogs to find the 20 princes I needed”.

Andrew is an entrepreneur, investor, film producer and talent & learning expert. He co-founded recruitment company Morgan & Banks and founded HR business process outsourcing provider, Talent2 International, and is one of the ‘Sharks’ on the television series Shark Tank Australia.
